The founder of Mountain Partners, Dr. Cornelius Boersch, initiated the two-day event in 2007 to provide his friends and business partners with an annual networking platform in a relaxed atmosphere. In the following years, the Unternehmertag developed into one of the most popular events in the venture capital and private equity scene in Europe and is a meeting point for the who-is-who of European business and politics as well as a launchpad for many successful start-ups, including a number of European unicorns.
In 2021, the Unternehmertag AG with its CEO Natalie Kurz took over the planning of this unique event.
The Unternehmertag offers entrepreneurs and investors the unique opportunity to meet and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The often quoted "Kessel Buntes" offers guests a varied mixture of keynotes on current topics, presentations of innovative start-ups and promising investment opportunities as well as a supporting program with sufficient occasions for networking at the highest level.
