Save the Date: "The Great Reshuffle. Who Holds the Cards in Tomorrow's World?"

Date and Topic for Unternehmertag 2026 have been set!

“The Great Re-Shuffle. Who holds the Cards in Tomorrow's World?” is the topic of the 19th Unternehmertag, which will take place from 18 to 20 March 2026 at the Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt on Lake Tegernsee, Germany.

The Great Re-Shuffle has long since begun.

Politically, autocracies are gaining power and influence, while democracies appear increasingly paralysed. This is not due to a lack of entrepreneurship, innovation, or risk-taking — all of which still thrive in Germany and Europe — but rather because of excessive regulation and bureaucratic obstacles that are stifling progress. While China, the United States, and new players in the Global South are racing ahead with strategic technology policies and relentless momentum, Europe is getting bogged down in regulatory minutiae.

Economically, we find ourselves in a time of rapid market shifts, emerging industries, and strained global dependencies. Technology is a key driver of these changes. Artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, and biotechnology are fuelling a global power shift that will transform economies, science, security, and everyday life. Those ahead of the curve will define the rules of tomorrow.

AI systems are evolving from tools into strategic partners. Quantum computers are unlocking entirely new avenues of research and analysis. Robotics is revolutionising production and the way we live.

But: Which regions and companies will claim the pivotal positions? How can Europe and Germany leverage their strengths in this global race for innovation? And who will supply the energy and build the necessary power stations, grids and storage facilities?

At Unternehmertag 2026, we look ahead: Who will deploy these technologies most effectively? Which innovations will shape our economy, society, and ways of thinking? Who will develop the next operating system for our world — and where will it be built? And what will breakthroughs in AI, quantum physics, and automation as well as rising energy demands mean for entrepreneurship, investment, and strategic sovereignty?

We bring together founders, investors, CEOs, family offices, scientists, visionaries, and political leaders against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Tegernsee — to explore the questions that matter most right now. How can Europe — how can we — become innovation leaders in a world of constant change?

Now more than ever, Europe needs pioneers, not bureaucrats; doers, not naysayers; entrepreneurs who lead with courage, vision, and a sense of responsibility.

Over the course of three days, more than 600 international guests — from CEOs and start-up founders to scientists, investors, and technology pioneers — will come together to be inspired, exchange ideas, forge connections, and help shape the future.

Turning bold visions into reality — the future starts here.
