Co-Founder and CEO robominds GmbH

Tobias Rietzler is Co-Founder and CEO of robominds GmbH in Munich. Together with Andreas Däubler, he founded the company in 2016 with the vision of making robotics accessible to as many users as possible.

Today, robominds is regarded as a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence for industrial robots. The robobrain® platform developed by robominds serves as a central control system – the “brain” for industrial robots – and forms the basis for the automation of a wide range of industrial applications. Today, robominds is primarily active in logistics and will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Born in 1991, Tobias Rietzler grew up in the Allgäu region and later completed an international education in Bangkok. This combination of local roots and global perspective shapes his approach: he works equally hands-on in industrial environments as he does with a visionary approach to product development and leadership.

In his role at robominds, he is responsible for both strategic and operational management and places great value on empowered leadership, authentic communication, and taking initiative.

The trained electrical engineer consistently combines technical and industry expertise with entrepreneurial thinking: robots should learn, perceive, grasp, and coordinate – while remaining simple and intuitive for the user. For him, AI is not just the future, but a present reality, fully aligned with robominds’ motto: making robots smart.
