We are delighted that Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Albania, has confirmed that he will be joining us as a speaker at this year's Unternehmertag.

A dynamic leader with a remarkable journey – from celebrated artist and national basketball player to one of the most influential political figures in Southeast Europe – Edi Rama has transformed Albania’s digital landscape and positioned innovation at the centre of public governance.
At Unternehmertag, he will share his perspectives on leadership, digital transformation and Albania’s role in Europe’s rapidly changing geopolitical environment.

The conversation will be moderated by Kai Diekmann, Founder of StoryMachine and former Editor-in-Chief of BILD.

A special highlight: Prime Minister Rama will introduce Diella, Albania’s AI Minister of State, the world’s first AI system appointed to a cabinet-level role. Developed by the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI), Diella supports data-driven policymaking and transparent digital services.
Albania’s bold digital reforms – including Diella – were recently highlighted by several European institutions as a model for agile public-sector innovation, strengthening the country’s position in ongoing EU integration discussions.
