You can immediately sense that Katharina Wörndl, a Salzburg native, approaches everything she does with passion. As Chief Marketing Officer of the Berlin-based communications agency StoryMachine New Classic, standing still is simply not an option for her. Her specialties: strategic digital and traditional communication, brand and executive/CEO positioning, crisis communication, and litigation PR. Her credo: "We believe in the power of emotions and great stories.“

Her personal journey has taken the Austrian across cities and leading media companies — from Salzburg (Red Bull Media House & DM), Munich (Westwing), Cologne (RTL), Berlin (StoryMachine & RTL Zwei), to Vienna (Canal+ & Pro7Sat.1 Group).

With a background in journalism and business, and now based in Potsdam, she has also worked as a consultant for SMEs, economic drivers, innovators, and agencies in the field of digital communication. She co-founded The Lovely Living Company with award-winning interior designer Katja Kessler, where she also serves as CEO. Katharina thrives on bringing people together and constantly bringing new ideas to life.

She also has extensive live TV experience as a presenter — most recently covering the Champions League and Europa League.

But her greatest passion lies in her role as event host, where she captivates audiences with deep expertise, quick wit, and a playful charm. As the mother of three little heroes, her ambassador role with Laureus is a heartfelt mission especially close to her heart.
