Florence Gaub is one of Europe’s foremost thinkers on future conflict, global security, and geopolitical transformation. As Director of Research at the NATO Defence College in Rome, she helps shape strategic foresight at the highest levels—advising governments and international bodies with scenario-based insights.
A political scientist by training and former Deputy Director of the EU Institute for Security Studies, Gaub has served as a reserve officer in the French Army, analyzed post-war Middle East dynamics, and led the World Economic Forum’s Future Council on Frontier Risks.
