Throwback to the Unternehmertag 2025
In his exciting, entertaining and very personal keynote, Jeff Eggers spoke about "Leadership, Security and Resilience in Times of Uncertainty" at Unternehmertag 2025 at Lake Tegernsee.
Jeff, former Special Advisor to US President Obama for National Security Affairs and Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RSquared Ventures, asked: What does Trump 2.0 mean for the security and resilience of the West? Is he the cause or a symptom of these chaotic times? What does good leadership mean? What are the fundamental variables of global power?
„The most powerful leaders are the one who bring both together in the same person, confidence and humble, which is very difficult, it’s very rare”, he said. “The human condition is conflicted about leadership. There is an instinctual wiring in us that creates independence, autonomy. Humble leaders let us to take control our fate but there is a part of us that also looks to shows off strength and confidence in our leaders, particularly in times of crisis, when we are looking for answers, for a direction.”
He said that the fundamental variables of global power are changing and that resiliency will be as important as assertiveness and leverage.
