Sebastian Hannecker is the Founder, COO & CFO of Flash Coffee, one of Asia’s fastest-growing tech-enabled coffee chains. Flash Coffee is headquartered in Singapore with locations across Asia Pacific, serving up an award-winning menu of high-quality drinks at affordable prices from its iconic yellow storefronts.
As the growth enabler in this rapidly scaling startup started in 2019, Sebastian seeks to ensure a consistent, effortless, and delightful customer experience while improving operational efficiency. Together with Co-founder David Brunier who serves as CEO, Sebastian has established over 100 Flash Coffee outlets, with more than 200 team members in head offices across Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, staffed with more than 300 baristas to deliver the promise of making premium coffee accessible to Asia’s rising middle class.
Prior to starting Flash Coffee, Sebastian worked as a Management Consultant at Bain & Company, one of the Top 3 Consulting firms globally. After three years working for Bain on various projects in Germany, Switzerland & the UK, Sebastian moved to South East Asia to join Bain’s Jakarta Office.
Sebastian holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He is passionate about optimizing physical and mental health through sleep, exercise, stress management, and periodic fasting.
