Dr. Prof. Dieter Kronzucker

As a presenter and reporter Dieter Kronzucker played a key role in shaping the German TV landscape. He was editor of the weekly TV magazine “Weltspiegel” as well as creator of “Extra Drei” for ARD and at the ZDF he developed the report series “Bilder aus Amerika” (“Pictures from America”) as well as “Abenteuer und Legenden” (“Adventures and Legends”). Besides he founded the daily news magazine “heute journal” together with Klaus Bresser.
Dieter Kronzucker was commentator and anchorman for SAT 1 and at N24 he is responsible for the knowledge magazine “Kronzuckers Kosmos” and the travel magazine “Kronzucker unterwegs” (“Kronzucker on the go”). As a correspondent Dieter Kronzucker worked in Spain, Portugal, South Africa and South America as well as in Washington and Brussels.
At the University of Television and Film in Munich he holds the chair of TV journalism. At the SRH University in Berlin he established the degree programme for communication management.
Dieter Kronzucker also is author of non-fiction books as well as travel books, mainly about Europe and America.
