Sabine Christiansen

Sabine Christiansen is a journalist and media entrepreneur. Christiansen launched her journalistic career with an internship at the NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk), where she started working as an economic editor. From 1985 to 1987, she moderated Tagesthemen. With her talk show Sabine Christiansen she became famous. For ten years Christiansen moderated the most important and most watched political debate on ARD (German TV channel). She interviewed almost all important international heads of government, business leaders and opinion makers. Between 2006 and 2008, she moderated and produced, as the first German journalist, the international talk show Global Players broadcasted in CNBC's program worldwide. In April 2009, she returned to German television (n-tv) with various formats. Christiansen is Managing Partner of a production company and Member of the Supervisory Board at freenet AG and the logistics company Hermes Europe GmbH. She received several awards and prizes for her journalistic achievements, including the World Media.
