"Conny" Boersch is the founder of Mountain Partners, a global investment holding for technology companies. He is an entrepreneur since 1990 and the founder of ACG AG, a leading company in the RFID market. In 1999, ACG AG successfully went public at Frankfurt Stock Exchange. One year later, Conny was elected Entrepreneur of the Year in Germany and sold ACG AG. He helped to build technologies firms like Smartrac which went public 2006 and Identiv, an RFID group listed at NASDAQ since 2010. Conny is considered one of the most active business angels in Europe and has been named European Business Angel of the Year in 2009. He invested in more than 200 young and fast growing companies such as Lieferando, reBuy, Scout24, Ciao.com, Omikey or Secusmart. Conny studied at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and earned a PhD from the University of Essen. In addition to investing, he published several books with the Gabler publishing house. Also, Conny is a passionate networker hosting major events like the EntrepreneursDay at Lake Tegernsee for many years.
