Anselm Bilgri is one of the most famous theologians in Germany. The former Benedictine is also known as a successful author and coach.
After his studies of philosophy and theology in Munich and Rome, he joined the Benedictine Abbey St. Bonifaz in Munich in 1975, where he and was ordained a priest in 1980. He later moved to Andechs monastery where he spent 18 years as prior and cellarer. In this function, he has developed the Andechs monastery and brewery as a globally recognized brand. Anselm Bilgri is a frequent guest speaker at corporate events and conventions. He is able to combine experiences from both lives, as a theologian and as an entrepreneur.
