Entrepreneur, Business Angel und Author

Florian Langenscheidt is a versatile entrepreneur and publicist. Born in 1955 in Berlin, Florian Langenscheidt studied German literature, journalism, philosophy and publishing industry in Munich, Cambridge and Fontainebleau.

Over many years, Florian has been member of the supervisory board of Bibliographisches Institut & F.A. Brockhaus AG and Langenscheidt Publishing Group (as publisher and personal liable associate). Meanwhile, he has withdrawn from operations of the publishing group and is primarily active as a publicist. Florian Langenscheidt is author of well-known books, such as “Langenscheidts Handbuch zum Glück” (2012) as well as columnist and author of numerous newspaper and magazine articles. Florian has been TV-host of the “Münchner Runde” (talk show, Bavarian TV) and “nachtclub”. In addition, Florian is speaker of the board of trustees of “Deutscher Gründerpreis” and co-founder of the German Book Prize. Florian Langenscheidt is an active social entrepreneur. In 2008, he was admitted to the German Speakers Hall of Fame.
